Hi, I'm Marc,
a Deep Learning and Robotics Engineer.

Currently I'm building Sereact, deploying deep learning models for computer vision to the real world. I'm interested in many things involved with coding and computers in general. Really enjoying deep learning, especially with PyTorch, but I also like developing robotics systems in C++ and anything that involves React. My main tech stack is

but I also like working with various other technologies such as ROS, Kubernetes, Swift, AWS, GCP, Azure, RabbitMQ, Java, LaTex and Vim.

Sereact story

As a computer scientist at heart, my passion has always been rooted in solving complex problems through technology. Since 2011, I`ve been working closely with Ralf Gulde at the University of Stuttgart, where our research focused on the foundations of robotics and AI. Together, we explored how to combine cutting-edge algorithms with real-world applications to push the boundaries of what autonomous systems can achieve. This early research laid the technical foundations for what would become Sereact.

In November 2021, after years of refining our ideas, Ralf and I co-founded Sereact. My main focus was always on the technical architecture - developing a robust control stack capable of making precise, autonomous decisions for robots in unpredictable environments. This approach led to our first robotic frontier model, which marked a significant leap forward in warehouse automation.

Today, as we continue to push forward, my focus remains on scaling embodied AI and further integrating our robotics with more advanced mapping and localisation systems. The journey from researching VLAMs in academia to leading a company that is shaping the future of autonomous robotics has been both challenging and rewarding. I`m excited about what the future holds as we continue to innovate and bring cutting-edge robotic solutions to industries around the world.
